Sonnie Atkinson

Sonnie Atkinson, of Bellingham, WA, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2021 at his home. He was 48, born in Cleveland, OH on November 25, 1972. Sonnie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Atkinson Sr., his grandmother Cecelia Atkinson, his father Marvin Atkinson Jr., his mother Beatrice Hart, his uncle Eugene Hart, his aunts, Sharon Anniskett and Faye Alsup, his cousin David Alsup and his niece Myriel Dolchok. He is survived by his mom Jennifer Johnson; his sisters, Ivene Hart, Regina Lynn, Marsha Escalona, Michelle, Naomi, and Shelley Atkinson; brothers Cory Robinson and Jeremiah Atkinson; his children, Crista Thomas, Cameron Seludo, Joshua Whitewolf, Ryan Atkinson and Justice Atkinson; grandchildren, Jasmine, Cassius and Rhyler and plenty of awesome nieces and amazing nephews; girlfriend Kasandra and her children Jaxsen, Audrey and Nigel; and many friends and best friends. Services will be held for Sonnie at Faith Bible Community Church in Ferndale on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Rest in Peace Sonnie and may your family and friends find peace in their trying times.
