Sally Lee Hansberry

Sally Hansberry, age 87, passed away in Bellingham on July 21, 2021. She was born March 20, 1934 in Portland, OR. Sally graduated from Highline High School in Burien and earned her BA and MA in Education at WWU. She married Harold Hansberry on August 19, 1961 in Seattle. Sally was active with AAUW and the League of Women Voters. Her 26 years of education included teaching at Little Epistles Preschool at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and later at Assumption Catholic School. Sally is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Harold Hansberry, daughter Jessica Lynn Hansberry, and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
