Richard Eugene Farmer

Richard Eugene “Dick” Farmer, age 94, passed away on April 21, 2026. 

Dick was born October 2, 1931, in Bellingham, WA to Robert and Olive (Aadland) Farmer. Dick graduated from Meridian High School and went on to serve for 38 years in the Washington Air National Guard in Bellingham. He enjoyed golfing and played into his 80’s. But what he loved most in life was his dear wife, Nancy. 

He was preceded in death by his son Gordy, brother Bob and sister Carol. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Nancy, son Randy, daughter Kathy and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, at Westford Funeral Home in Bellingham, followed by a reception. Committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
