Patricia June MacCormack

Patricia June MacCormack, 89, passed away in Bellingham on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. She was born in Ramsgate, Kent, England, on June 1, 1937, to Ernest and Maude Champs.

Patricia married Bruce MacCormack on March 18, 1961, in Ramsgate, Kent.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bruce; her elder son, Andrew; and her grandson, Kyle. She was preceded in death by her younger son, Stephen.

Patricia attended St. George’s School, Ramsgate and the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, Vancouver. She specialized in swimwear design, working at the Marks & Spencer head office in London and later for Jantzen Swimwear in Canada. In 1984, Patricia and Bruce moved to the United States. She traveled extensively with Bruce, visiting many countries around the world. Patricia will be remembered for her gracious manner, warm smile, and kindness to everyone she met.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Squalicum Boathouse (2600 N. Harbor Loop Dr., Bellingham) on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception with refreshments and an opportunity to share memories and stories.
