Listen to Obituary

Pamela was known for her hospitality and welcoming spirit in every part of her life. She was detail oriented and noticed things others missed. She believed in being truthful, and even when the truth might hurt, it always came from a place of love. Pam was also deeply dedicated to social justice and equity.

She lived to serve others, and when she saw someone in need, she was the first to ask “what can we do?”. She loved celebrating the people around her—the birthdays, weddings, births, anniversaries, graduations, and even the smaller moments in life. She truly believed that each person was special and deserved to be honored.

She loved adventures with her best friend, Richard. By his side, she lived in Germany and experienced the cultures of Belgium, Italy, Israel, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Yugoslavia (Bosnia), France, and England before settling in Bellingham to create their home together. Here, she worked with Richard painting, planting flowers and trees, and making a home that was a peaceful paradise for the two of them and all who visited.

Pam was preceded in death by her two sons, Christopher Marriott in 1996 and Bryan Marriott in 2009. She is survived by her loving husband Richard, son Michael Marriott, stepdaughter, Rhonda (Doug) Daniels, and stepson Richard A (Diana) Wilson, grandchildren, Crystal, Jacob, Jon-Michael, Kaitlyn, Heather, Aubrey, Adam, Addisyn, Avery, and Brooklyn Marriot, Ashley (Andy) Meadows, Kirah Wilson, Rachel (Seth) Dosa, Jared (Delaney) Wilson, Nick and Joey Allen, and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Sawyer, London, Anderson, Blaire, Elowyn, and Sunny, as well as many loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Pam’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14th at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow before committal at the Bayview Cemetery.
