Humberto C. Del Castillo

Humberto C. Del Castillo passed away on March 17, 2026, in Bellingham, WA.

He was born on February 2, 1946, in Edinburg, TX, to parents Raymond and Virginia (Cano) Del Castillo. Humberto spent 46 years working at Intalco/ALCOA, where he was known for his dedication and skill as a welder and operator. Outside of work, he was an avid painter and a talented sword maker, possessing a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity. Humberto took great pride in caring for and improving his home, always finding ways to build, repair, and create.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Virginia Del Castillo.

Humberto is survived by his beloved wife, Esperanza Moreno; his children, Dominic Del Castillo and Jozette Del Castillo-James (Mark James); stepdaughter, Tricia Ferry (Ryan Ferry); and his cherished grandchildren, Dominick, Celia, Kayla, Marcus, Amilio, Amina, Marchello, Vasilio, Alusius, Roland, Liam, and Mark James Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at Westford Funeral Home, followed by a reception.
