Esther Rosemary Perram was born on May 13, 1939, in Zion, IL to Clarence and Elsie Peterson. When Esther was three years old, she and her family moved to Bellingham, eventually graduating from Bellingham High School. After high school, Esther attended business school, which led to her career as a secretary working at several banks and law offices.
In 1964, Esther married Jack Perram and they moved to Eastern Washington to work on a cattle ranch, with Jack also working in the logging and timber trade with Boise Cascade. After retirement, they moved back to Bellingham and would travel to Southern California for the winter months.
A loved hobby of Esther’s was sewing. She would make all her clothes at one time, and in her later years she would make teddy bears.
Esther is predeceased by her parents and sister, Shirley. She is survived by her husband, Jack, stepsons, Jack and Steven Perram, and her sisters Carol Kessler and Linda Dodd.
