Doreen Joyce Fenton

Doreen Joyce Fenton was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 2, 1938. She lived a full life of 87 years.

Doreen lived in several states throughout her lifetime, including California, Oregon, and Washington. The most recent was in SeaTac, WA near her son David.

She always kept busy with activities such senior center, church, and family outings. She attended three Bellingham churches over the years, Assumption Catholic Church, Northlake Church, and also Home League at the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her three children, Steven Frick, David Frick, and Shirley O'Brien, and she was the proud “Nanny” to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, all of whom were veterans, Wayne Frick, Ralph Johnson, and Charles Fenton.

Friends and family are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, 2116 Cornwall Ave. Bellingham, WA. Committal to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 5977 Northwest Dr. Ferndale, WA.
