Carol Lamb, born on October 29, 1942, in Dedham, Massachusetts, to parents John and Otelia, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Bellingham, Washington.
After graduating from high school and marrying her high school sweetheart, Carol continued her education through night school at a local junior college in California. There, she honed her administrative skills to serve her community working as a teacher’s aide and resource specialist in her school district and as a secretary for the county sheriff’s office - all while raising three sons.
Carol enjoyed many hobbies, but none more than travel. With her husband Richard, she traversed the country and the eastern Canadian provinces for nearly thirty years. Carol looked forward each year to their seasonal migration between the Pacific Northwest, where she spent summers visiting family, and the Desert Southwest, where they rejoined a close-knit group of dear friends and like-minded wanderers known as the Escapees (SKPs), a community of RV enthusiasts. Carol also loved camping at the beaches along the Southern California coast and instilled her love of beach camping to her sons.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Marion).
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lamb; sons Richard Jr., Jaden, and Rod; daughter-in-law Barbara; granddaughter Lili; and her sister, Ellen.
