Broadway Hall is an elegant site for wedding
ceremonies, receptions, parties and galas. The newly
renovated hall is located in Bellingham, WA, 50
miles south of Vancouver, B.C., and 90 miles north
of Seattle, WA. The hall is located on a bluff
overlooking Squalicum Harbor and Bellingham Bay,
which provides for gorgeous sunset scenes and a view
of the San Juan Islands. If you are looking for a
ballroom, banquet hall, wedding site, corporate or
meeting site, Broadway Hall is a facility that
provides everything you need to create a beautiful
and successful event.
Broadway Hall, noted for its unique arches, cozy
nooks and elegant architectural design, boasts a
character, charm and history not often seen in
venues of similar size. The hall was built in 1905
by the Aftermath Ladies Club, an elite social club
in Bellingham, and is listed on the Washington State
and National Historic Registers. Your guests will be
transported back to an era when good taste and
lavish entertaining were an everyday event. Today
Broadway Hall, with its original hardwood floors and
unique architectural design, offers two
extraordinary floors for rent.
The Main Floor offers a distinct alternative
to the Grand Ballroom for those looking for a more
intimate atmosphere. The hall comfortably
accommodates 150 guests seated theatre style and 100
seated banquet style. The floor allows ample room
for organizational activities, buffet service, or
guest mingling. The hardwood floors allow your
guests to dance the night away. A full size kitchen,
equipped with two gas stoves, refrigerator, freezer,
plenty of counter space and a bar pass through is
available for your use. The stage area is ideal for
ceremonies, guest speakers or a DJ. The gas
fireplace, formed with rocks from all of the
quarries in the area, creates the perfect mood
lighting and ambience for an intimate affair.
The Grand Ballroom has a neutral décor
incorporating vaulted ceilings and beautiful
chandeliers that glow after dark. The bay side
windows allow for breathtaking sunset views that add
elegance and ambience. A small kitchenette,
including a sink and refrigerator, is available for
use with the ballroom rental. The Grand Ballroom can
also accommodate corporate events, whether daytime
business meetings, luncheons, presentations or
evening banquets and receptions. The ballroom nicely
holds 250 guests or 200 guests, if seated banquet
style.
Using Both Floors allows weddings, receptions
and other related events to be held simultaneously
in this one beautiful location. We are located near
Elizabeth Park, Zuanich Point Park and Squalicum
Harbor; all are excellent places for outdoor wedding
photos. This storybook setting with unique
architecture is ideal for your event. We are proud
